Scripts to Download Oracle Database 12c Release 2 Documentation

1 February 2017 4 Comments Written by Christian Antognini

In the past (here, here and here) I already shared with you the scripts I use to download the Oracle Database documentation. The aim of this short post is to reference the script I just wrote for the latest version: 12c Release 2.

Happy downloading as well as happy reading!

Update 2018-02-27: new version of the scripts using the new URLs and structure used by Oracle’s documentation website

Update 2020-03-09: removed CMD script, refreshed SH script and moved it to GitHub.

    Dear Christian,

A download script could not cope with 3 documents due to oracle link changed.
    1. PLSQL Packages and Types Reference.pdf changed to https://docs.oracle.com/en/database/oracle/oracle-database/12.2/arpls/database-pl-sql-packages-and-types-reference.pdf
    2. SQL Language Quick Reference.pdf changed to https://docs.oracle.com/en/database/oracle/oracle-database/12.2/sqlqr/sql-language-quick-reference.pdf
    3. SecureFiles and Large Objects Developer’s Guide.pdf (no pdf appeared after Jan 2012)

    Cheers,
    Bunditj

      Hi Bunditj

Thank you for the feedback. I see that Oracle changed all the links, but most of the old ones still works… mhmm… I’ll have to edit my scripts.

      Best,
      Chris
